Happy Texas Independence Day! March 2 is a very special day to all Texans. It is especially memorable to this Texan, as the birthday of one of my beautiful daughters.
March is full of special days of celebration. Most people are familiar with St Patrick’s Day on the 17th; but did you know about St David’s Day (Wales) on the 1st and St Piran’s Day (Cornwall) on the 5th?
March is also the time of the Spring Equinox on the 20th, known as Ostara to our Pagan/Wiccan friends. Don’t forget Nu Ruz, the Persian New Year on the 21st.
